During the financial year, Titans Cheer placed a strong emphasis on bringing our community together through a series of inclusive and engaging activities. Our fundraising efforts were centred not only on supporting our athletes but also on creating opportunities for local people and businesses to connect. A highlight of the year was our Christmas Craft Fair, an event designed to celebrate local talent and strengthen community spirit. Small businesses and independent creators were invited to set up stalls, giving them a platform to showcase and sell their products. This initiative not only supported local entrepreneurs but also encouraged families and community members to come together, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and engage with those around them. Alongside the craft fair, we hosted a Christmas raffle and provided tea, coffee, and refreshments, creating a warm and welcoming space for locals to gather. These activities helped foster a sense of togetherness and allowed people of all ages to enjoy a festive community experience. Funds raised through these events, along with ongoing donations and other fundraising initiatives, were used to support our competition teams and maintain our Cheer4Fun recreational classes. This financial assistance ensured our athletes, from age five through to adults, had access to uniforms, competition entry fees, and inclusive cheerleading programs that promote fitness, teamwork, and confidence. Through these combined efforts, Titans Cheer strengthened community connections while continuing to advance our mission of providing accessible, positive cheerleading opportunities for all.
We maintain consistent and meaningful communication with our stakeholders, who include athletes, parents and guardians, coaches, volunteers, and other members of our wider community. These groups play an essential role in the success and development of Titans Cheer, and their input is highly valued. Stakeholder consultation takes place regularly through a variety of channels. Day-to-day, we engage with parents, athletes, and coaches through informal conversations at training sessions and events, ensuring that concerns, suggestions, and ideas can be shared openly. We also hold dedicated parent meetings to discuss upcoming activities, fundraising plans, and any changes within the club. In addition, structured meetings with coaches and volunteers allow us to gather feedback on operational matters, athlete wellbeing, training improvements, and club development. To ensure every voice can be heard, we distribute surveys to both parents and athletes. These surveys provide an opportunity for stakeholders to give more detailed feedback, highlight areas for improvement, and help guide the club’s planning and decision-making. Through these combined methods, Titans Cheer ensures that all stakeholders are informed, included, and able to contribute to the direction of the organisation.
