    Turnover policy

Revenue recognition Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable and represents amounts receivable for goods supplied and services rendered, stated net of discounts and of Value Added Tax. COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

DOG TROUBLE FOUNDATION CIC

Company Number: 11623034 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 March 2025

Company activities and impact

We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs to the local community. This includes intensive training for dogs that have been mistreated or have behaviour issues so they can be safely rehomed with the right owners. We carry out house checks and make sure that the potential adoptees are right for the dog and the dog is right for them, and support them for the full adoption process through training and giving continued support post adoption. We look after the dogs in our care, including regular health checks, regular exercise and a healthy diet. We hold fundraising activities to pay for the food to maintain the health and wellbeing of the dogs, including activities at local shops and other venues. We hold monthly pack walks at the centre for the local community to come together. This creates a popular opportunity for the local community to get together with their families and friends and their dogs. It provides an important way for dogs to be socialised and owners to gain insights and support from our behaviourists who lead the walks. We hold special events and walks during Easter and Christmas with food and drink provided and also an annual fun day with lots of local businesses supporting with running stalls. All events are well attended by the local community.

Consultation with stakeholders

The foundation's stakeholders are local families and dog owners, dog rescue organisations and shelters, and local schools and youth organisations. We provide updates on our activities and solicit feedback via newsletters, Social media, local media and businesses. We are planning several social events for local families, and are providing a range of volunteering opportunities for local residents to get involved with the rescue.
