For the period ending 31 December 2024 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The member has not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The director acknowledges his responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The company has taken advantage of section 444(1) of the Companies Act 2006 and opted not to deliver to the registrar a copy of the company's Profit and Loss Account.

1. General Information

General International Telecom Limited is a private company, limited by shares, incorporated in England & Wales, registered number 13460324 . The registered office is 7 Old Gloucester Street, London, WC1N 3AX.

2. Accounting Policies

2.1. Basis of Preparation of Financial Statements

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 section 1A Small Entities "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" and the Companies Act 2006.

2.2. Foreign Currencies

Monetary assets and liabilities in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rates of exchange ruling at the balance sheet date. Transactions in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rate ruling on the date of the transaction. Exchange differences are taken into account in arriving at the operating profit.

9. Related Party Transactions

Included within debtors is £3,946,585 owed from General International Telecom El Salvador, S.A de C.V

Included within Creditors is £4,091,413 owed to Jaguar Fund No.1 LP, which owns 100% holding in the company

During the Financial year ended Dec 31 , 2024, an amount of USD 5,663,365 was received. The source of this payment relates to the insurance policy that General Interantional Telecom (GIT) Ltd took out on its behalf and on behalf of all its affiliated companies (present or future). The policy was not intended to any company specific, but on behalf of all of them.

This amount was subsequently paid to General Interantional Telecom El Salvador S.A de C.V. (GITES) because the rights and obligations of GIT were assigned to GITES by virtue of the SPA signed in 2021 for the acquisition of the shares of Sociedad Telefónica Móviles El Salvador S.A. de C.V. The funds that GITES received by virtue of the transfer agreement will be used to fulfil the payment of the financing to acquire Sociedad Telefónica Móviles El Salvador S.A. de C.V.
