For the year ending 31 March 2025 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover represents amounts chargeable, net of value added tax, in respect of the sale of goods and services to customers.

    Other accounting policies

    Stock is valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value, after due regard for obsolete and slow moving stocks. Net realisable value is based on selling price less anticipated costs to completion and selling costs.

Company activities and impact

The company has provided the social and entertainment facilities for Ketton Sports and Community Centre, they are used by all members of the various sports clubs who hold their sporting events on the grounds. These facilities include the bar, musical evenings open to all and they have also been hired by individuals for private functions such as funerals, birthday parties and charity events. The provision of these facilities allows the village to maintain a thriving sports complex which has been refurbished to a high standard. Many local community groups including adult keep fit, playgroup, school holiday kids club have benefitted from the facilities. As well has local groups all age groups of the sports sections at Ketton have benefited from the facilities. The bar & kitchen have provided part-time employment for 12 local residents including youngsters.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company's stakeholders are the trustees of Ketton Sports and Community Centre . The trustees represent all users of the facilities. The KSCC trustees meet regularly and the company directors report to them at these meetings. The trustees will also feedback on how the facilities are being run at these meetings and the directors consider any requests for changes that are made
