Accounting policies
Company information
Bradway Care Home Holdings Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales. The registered office is The Old House, 64 The Avenue, Egham, TW20 9AD.
1.1
Accounting convention
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with FRS 102 “The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland” (“FRS 102”) and the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 as applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime. The disclosure requirements of section 1A of FRS 102 have been applied other than where additional disclosure is required to show a true and fair view.
The financial statements are prepared in sterling, which is the functional currency of the company. Monetary amounts in these financial statements are rounded to the nearest £.
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention. The principal accounting policies adopted are set out below.
The company has taken advantage of the exemption under section 399 of the Companies Act 2006 not to prepare consolidated accounts, on the basis that the group of which this is the parent qualifies as a small group. The financial statements present information about the company as an individual entity and not about its group.
1.2
Going concern
Notwithstanding the reported loss for the year, the director believes it is appropriate to apply the going concern basis of accounting on the preparation of these financial statements. true
The director has no reason to believe that financial support will be withdrawn by fellow group members or by the company's ultimate parent undertaking. Accordingly the financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis.

Investments held as fixed assets are shown at cost less provision for impairment.

Audit report information
As the income statement has been omitted from the filing copy of the financial statements, the following information in relation to the audit report on the statutory financial statements is provided in accordance with s444(5B) of the Companies Act 2006:
The auditor's report was unqualified.
The senior statutory auditor was Graham Rigby and the auditor was Azets Audit Services.

Financial commitments, guarantees and contingent liabilities
Certain entities in the group headed by Cinnamon Care Homes II Limited Partnership are party to unlimited cross guarantees in favour of Clydesdale Bank PLC, in respect of borrowings of various group companies. The March 2024 comparative relates to unlimited cross guarantees in favour of Fortwell Capital Limited. The entities party to this guarantee are as follows:

As at 31 March 2025, the net borrowings encompassed by the cross guarantee were £36,185,000 (2024: £25,295,840).

Related party transactions
The activities of the group headed by Bradway Care Home Holdings Limited are funded by Cinnamon Finance Company II Limited, a fellow member of the group headed by Cinnamon Care Homes II LP. Funds are advanced from Cinnamon Finance Company II Limited to the company, which then loans on in turn to its subsidiary undertakings.
At the balance sheet date, the company was owed £139,965 (2024: £135,465) by Bradway Care Limited and £2,481,277 (2024: £4,199,201) by Bradway Care Home Limited, and owed £2,861,905 (2024: £4,575,329) to Cinnamon Finance Company II Limited. The balances are interest free and repayable on demand, however in view of the longer term nature of the advances they have been classified as falling due after more than one year.
Notional interest in the sum of £334,000 (2024: £260,000) has been recognised on the amounts due from Bradway Care Home Limited, and is presented within other debtors falling due after more than one year.
