| 1. | STATUTORY INFORMATION |

| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" including the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention modified by the inclusion of certain fair values as required by FRS 102. |
| The financial statements are presented in pounds sterling and rounded to the nearest pound. |
| Turnover - services, measured by costs incurred |
| Turnover is measured at the value of the consideration received or receivable, net of discounts and value added taxes, from the rendering of building services. Turnover from the rendering of building services is recognised according to the stage of completion of the contract. The stage of completion of a building contract if measured by comparing the costs incurred for work performed to date to the total estimated costs of completing the contract. Turnover is only recognised to the extent of recoverable expenses when the outcome of a contract cannot be estimated reliably. |
| Taxation |
| Taxation for the year comprises current tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity. |
| Current taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted. |
| Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date. |
| Leased assets |
| All leases are regarded as operating leases and the payments made under them are charged to the profit and loss account on a straight line basis over the lease term. |
| Pension costs and other post-retirement benefits |
| The company operates a defined contribution pension scheme. Contributions payable to the company's pension scheme are charged to profit or loss in the period to which they relate. |
| Going concern |
| The directors have reviewed the financial performance of the company and consequently, due to challenging economic conditions across the construction sector arising from inflation and interest rates have made the decision to liquidate the company in the subsequent year. As such the financial statements have been prepared on a basis other than that of the going concern basis. No provision has been made for future costs of terminating the company unless such costs were committed at the reporting date. |

| The bank holds a debenture in its standard form dated 17 March 2006 incorporating a fixed and floating charge over the assets of the Progressive Group. There is no liability in these company accounts to which this charge relates. |

| The Company may be held jointly liable with other group companies for any amounts due under an Omnibus Guarantee and Set-Off Agreement dated 17 March 2006. There is no liability in these company accounts to which this Set-Off Agreement applies. |
