During the year, the company delivered community arts activity focused on creative wellbeing, including the operation of local art clubs and a small number of wellbeing day retreats. These activities provided accessible creative opportunities for members of the local community and supported wellbeing and social connection. During the period, the art clubs began transitioning towards being member-led and independently operated community groups, with the company supporting this transition to ensure continued community benefit.
The company consulted with art club members during the year regarding the future operation of the art clubs. Members were involved in discussions about how they wished the clubs to continue, including the transition towards being member-led and independently operated community groups.
A director received payments totalling £260 during the period for facilitating community art workshops. These payments were made on a self-employed basis in respect of delivery of services and not for director duties.
