Company activities and impact

During the financial year, SENDisco CIC provided inclusive, sensory-friendly social and recreational activities for children, young people, and adults with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), along with support for their families and carers. The company delivered regular accessible disco events and sensory-based activities, creating safe, welcoming environments that encouraged social interaction, confidence, and emotional wellbeing. These activities helped reduce social isolation and enabled participants to engage in community life in a way that suited their individual needs. SENDisco CIC also supported families and carers by offering opportunities to connect with others in similar circumstances, helping to strengthen local support networks. Activities were delivered in partnership with local venues and community organisations and were kept affordable to ensure accessibility for families experiencing financial pressures. Overall, the company’s activities contributed positively to community wellbeing by promoting inclusion, accessibility, and social connection for individuals with SEND and their families.
