The company manages and restores woodlands, with a particular focus on overstood or neglected coppice, alongside providing opportunities for education and learning related to sustainable woodland management. The company operates on a small scale and undertakes practical woodland work in partnership with landowners and local stakeholders. During the reporting period, the company’s activities benefited the community in the following ways: - areas of neglected or overstood coppice woodland were brought back into active management, supporting woodland health, biodiversity, and long-term sustainability. - traditional coppicing and woodland management practices were maintained and demonstrated, helping to preserve skills of environmental and cultural value. - income generated through trading activity was reinvested into the continuation of woodland management and educational activities rather than distributed for private gain. - landowners and community contacts were supported in understanding and managing woodland in a more sustainable and environmentally beneficial way. The scale of activity during the period was modest, but all work undertaken was aligned with the company’s community interest objectives and contributed positively to environmental stewardship and education.
