Prior Period Adjustment
During the preparation of the financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2025, management identified an error in the corporation tax charge originally recognised in the financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2022. The tax charge was overstated by £67,596.
As a result, opening retained earnings as at 1 April 2024 have been increased by £67,596 and the corporation tax creditor reduced by the same amount. This adjustment has no impact on the profit or loss for the year ended 31 March 2025.
For the year ending 31/03/2025 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.
