  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover comprises the invoiced value of goods and services supplied by the company, net of Value Added Tax and trade discounts.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Tangible fixed assets, other than freehold land, are stated at cost or valuation less depreciation and any provision for impairment. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost or valuation of fixed assets, less their estimated residual value, over their expected useful lives on the following basis: Computer Equipment 20% Straight Line Plant and Machinery 20% Straight Line

    Other accounting policies

    Provisions Provisions are recognised when the company has a present obligation as a result of a past event which it is more probable than not will result in an outflow of economic benefits that can be reasonably estimated.

The company’s goal is to improve the education and development of children and young people in the local area through sport and play. The company’s activities have benefited the community in the following ways: local children and young people have been given the opportunity to participate in high quality PE and sport local schools have been able to provide high quality PE & sports local communities have been able to take part in Community Sport activities
