Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities effective April 2008.

Related party transactions

The Company is ultimately controlled by Pearl Forecourts Ltd. Pearl Forecourts Ltd is the parent company of Chedgold Ltd. Pearl Forecourts Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number - 07144347.

The accounts have been prepared on an interim estimated basis and are subject to change upon the final completion of the parent company audited accounts.

During the year ended 30 September 2024, the entire share capital of Chedgold Limited was purchased by Pearl Forecourts Ltd, company number 07144347, which is now the parent company.

The trading business of Chedgold Limited was taken over by the parent company, Pearl Forecourts Ltd, which is also a retail forecourt operator.
