Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 March 2025 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

The members have agreed to the preparation of abridged accounts for this accounting period in accordance with Section 444(2A).

These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The directors have chosen to not file a copy of the company’s profit & loss account.

1. Accounting policies

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

Turnover policy

Turnover is derived from the leasing of property to third parties. Turnover is exclusive of value added tax. All turnover arises in the UK.

Valuation and information policy

The financial statements are prepared on the historical cost basis except that the following assets and liabilities are stated at their fair value; investment property , in accordance with the revaluation model. Investment properties are properties which are held either to rental income or for capital appreciation or for both. Investment properties are recognised initially at cost. Subsequent to initial recognition; i. investment properties whose fair value can be measured reliably without undue cost or effort are held at fair value. Any gain or losses arising from changes in the fair value are recognised in profit or loss in the period that they arise; and ii no depreciation is provided in respect of investment properties applying the fair value model.

Other accounting policies

Going concern : The financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis. The Company has received assurance from related companies that they will provide any financial support that may be needed from time to time. Additionally, the directors have indicated they will provide financial support to the Company if required. After making enquiries, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the Company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Accordingly, they continue to prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis.

3. Fixed investments

The property was valued £1,250,000 in July 2016 by Christie & Co. an independent valuer and member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. The directors consider this valuation to be an accurate representation as of 31 March 2025, the historical cost of the property is £1,000,000.
