The company has provided local radio broadcasting service for the community of Tamworth. We are the only radio station, either community or commercial, to broadcast for and also be based out of the area. We have provided free detailed broadcasting training to members of the local community within our radio skills course, specifically with young people and this has enabled some of our members to go on to gain commercial employment within the industry. All of our radio presenters are also members of the local community who volunteer their time to help and support with the running of the station. We also provided free radio broadcasting services in the form of outside broadcasts to local community groups with the area to provide them with free publicity in the form of a presenter doing a live radio show for their event. We also provided free advertising for community groups and charities who do not wish to have the full event system in the form of recorded adverts which are played during our shows transmissions.
Our stakeholders are members of the Tamworth Community and also our volunteer members. Members of the community are able to leave feedback about the station online on our community forum or by email. We held meetings with our membership base twice in the year to discuss the direction of the company and for them to be able to influence this.
