PART 1 – GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY’S ACTIVITIES AND IMPACT Art in Liverpool C.I.C. delivered a full programme of publishing and events in 2025, supporting the work of over 800 North West artists and expanding opportunities for local artists to national and international galleries. Art in Liverpool Newspaper was published all months other than January 2025, reaching 99,000 readers across the Liverpool City Region. Independents Biennial, the company’s lead production project was fully funded, and strengthened itself and the arts ecology of Merseyside to the benefit of local audiences, artists and partner venues, with an audience of 169,830 and a total audience reach of 1.2million. Artists surveyed unanimously reported feeling stronger in their practice than before the project began.
PART 2 – CONSULTATION WITH STAKEHOLDERS Stakeholders were surveyed at the end of the festival period (September 2025), following 14 weeks of events across 72 venues. 28% of venues responded. 70% reported increased audiences. 80% reported having made connections with new artists and other venue organisers. 45% reported having made connections with peers from further afield (context – UK and Europe).
The total amount paid to Director in respect of qualifying services was £18,814 The overall contributions by the CIC to pension for directors was £1019.55 No other remunerations nor benefits was received by directors.
