COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

JOURNEY BEFORE SUCCESS CIC

Company Number: 11722329 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 March 2025

Company activities and impact

1. Activities and Impact During the Year During the year ended 31 March 2025, Journey Before Success CIC operated at a significantly reduced level. This followed a strategic decision by the directors to enter a managed wind-down period, due to limited funding availability, increased cost-of-living pressures, and reduced volunteer and operational capacity. As a result, the organisation did not deliver full programmes during the period. Activity instead focused on light-touch community support, including: Providing advice and guidance Signposting individuals to partner organisations with active funding Maintaining safeguarding awareness and duty of care Supporting community connections where appropriate This approach ensured that individuals seeking assistance were not left unsupported, while allowing the organisation to operate responsibly within its reduced capacity.

Consultation with stakeholders

2. Beneficiaries and Stakeholders Beneficiaries during the period included individuals and families seeking community, wellbeing, and practical support. Where Journey Before Success CIC was unable to deliver services directly, beneficiaries were referred to partner organisations better placed to meet their needs. Stakeholder engagement continued informally through existing networks and collaborations to ensure continuity of support during the wind-down process. 3. Consultation with Stakeholders The organisation maintained informal consultation with stakeholders through community contacts and partner organisations. This enabled Journey Before Success CIC to remain responsive while operating at a reduced level and ensured appropriate referrals and signposting.
