Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 March 2025 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The directors have chosen not to file a copy of the company's profit and loss account.

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Depreciation is provided at the following annual rates in order to write off each asset over its estimated useful life. Plant & Machinery etc - 25% on cost.

Company activities and impact

During the financial year to 31st March 2025, the CIC did not directly deliver community activities. However, since the year end, and up to date of this report, the CIC has supported increased community benefit through volunteer-led cycling races at Doncaster Cycle Track. Volunteers have organised and supported a number of local cycle races, including grassroots-level events designed to be accessible to young riders and families. This allows participants to carry out the physical activity within a safe and supportive environment. The activities delivered since the year end demonstrate the CIC's developing role in supporting community participation in cycling and promoting active lifestyles locally.

Consultation with stakeholders

Feedback has been gathered through direct discussions during event planning and delivery, helping to inform decisions around accessibility, event format and focus on grassroots participation. This engagement has supported the CIC's aim of ensuring activities meet local community needs and align with its social purpose.
