The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 March 2025

Principal activities of the company

The Polish Clan Association CIC works to promote social inclusion, community cohesion, and wellbeing within the London Borough of Hounslow and surrounding areas. The organisation supports individuals and families at risk of social exclusion due to language barriers, cultural differences, or socio-economic challenges, with a particular focus on the Polish community. The Association provides accessible community activities, education, and cultural programmes that support integration while preserving Polish language, heritage, and identity. By removing barriers to participation and creating inclusive spaces, the organisation encourages engagement, mutual understanding, and stronger community connections. Key Activities and Achievements April 2024 – March 2025 Community Events During the reporting period, the Association delivered a range of cultural and community events that promoted Polish heritage and community engagement, including: Polish Heritage Day Festival (May 2024) Polish Volunteer Champions Awards (July 2024) Summer BBQ Community Event (July 2024) Polish Harvest Festival (September 2024) Polish Independence Day Celebration (November 2024) Christmas Fair and Community Party (December 2024) Community Dance Celebration (March 2025) These events engaged over 10,000 participants, supporting cultural exchange, family participation, and social cohesion. Monday Family Club The Monday Family Club, delivered weekly at Hounslow Youth Centre, provided open-access activities for all ages, including Polish dance classes, arts and crafts, and fitness sessions. Weekly attendance averaged 30–40 participants, offering regular opportunities for social interaction and wellbeing support. Workshops and Health Campaigns In response to mental health needs within the Polish community, the Association delivered wellbeing activities in partnership with Creative People & Places, including: A Wellbeing Workshop combining group therapy and creative arts for 20 women A 5-week Salsa Workshop promoting physical activity and mental wellbeing In partnership with NHS West London, the Association also delivered targeted health awareness campaigns focusing on: MMR and flu vaccinations Smoking cessation and healthy lifestyle promotion Volunteering and Partnerships The Association supported 55 volunteers, providing opportunities to develop skills and contribute to community projects, events, and support initiatives. Strong partnerships were maintained with the Polish Embassy, local authorities, NHS services, cultural organisations, and community stakeholders. The Association also acted as a cultural advisor to Creative People & Places and remained an active member of the Metropolitan Police Independent Advisory Group.

The Polish Clan Association has been dedicated to enriching the lives of the local community by providing a wide range of activities and services that foster integration, support, and cultural celebration. Our ethos is rooted in serving the public benefit, ensuring inclusivity, and addressing the diverse needs of our community. Key Activities and Achievements (April 2024 – March 2025): Community Events Throughout the year, we organized several events aimed at bringing people together, celebrating Polish heritage, and fostering a sense of belonging. Highlights include: Polish Heritage Day Festival (May 2024) Polish Volunteer Champions Awards ( July 2024) Summer BBQ Party (July 2024) Polish Harvest Festival (September 2024) Polish Independence Day Event (November 2024) Christmas Fair and Party (December 2024) Community Dance Celebration (March 2025) These events engaged over 10,000 participants, providing opportunities for cultural exchange, family fun, and community bonding. Monday Family Club Operating weekly at the Hounslow Youth Centre, this open-access club offers activities for all age groups, including Polish dance classes for children, arts and crafts, and fitness sessions for adults. Weekly attendance averages 30-40 participants, creating a space for relaxation, skill-building, and friendship. Workshops and Campaigns In response to the growing mental health challenges within the Polish community, we launched a wellbeing awareness campaign in partnership with Create People and Places. Key initiatives included: Wellbeing Workshop – a programme combining group therapy and creative art sessions, delivered to 20 women, aimed at improving emotional wellbeing and mental health. Salsa Classes Workshop – a 5-week series of dance sessions designed to promote physical activity, social connection, and positive mental wellbeing. In addition, in partnership with NHS West London, we delivered targeted health awareness campaigns within the Polish community, focusing on: MMR and Flu Vaccinations – increasing awareness, addressing misconceptions, and encouraging uptake of essential vaccinations. Stop Smoking Campaign – promoting smoking cessation, sharing accessible NHS support pathways, and encouraging healthier lifestyle choices. Volunteering Opportunities We provided meaningful opportunities for 55 volunteers, who contributed to delivering projects, organizing events, packing Christmas hampers, and supporting community needs. Collaboration and Partnerships We have forged strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Polish Embassy, local councils, foodbanks, and cultural organizations. Notably, we work as cultural advisors with Creative People & Places to promote arts within Hounslow and maintain active membership in the Independent Advisory Group with the Metropolitan Police, addressing local challenges and fostering safety. Community Impact Our activities have positively influenced the community by promoting cultural awareness, reducing social isolation, providing essential support, and fostering a sense of unity among diverse groups. These achievements underscore our commitment to delivering tangible benefits to the public and serving as a vital resource for the Polish and broader local community.

Consultation with stakeholders

Below is the list of our partners and stakeholders we actively working and collaborate. Public Sector: Polish Embassy in London London Borough of Hounslow London Borough of Ealing West London Public Health Metropolitan Police Third Sector (NGOs): Creative People and Places Hounslow Storehouse Food Bank Feltham Anne Shine Community Foodbank Hounslow Foodbank, Holy Trinity Church POSK in Hammersmith Poland Street Metropolitan Police Polish Association East European Resource Centre Medical Aid for Poles Consultation and Engagement Activities Membership in the Independent Advisory Group (IAG) with the Metropolitan Police We attended monthly meetings to discuss and address local community issues, including safety concerns and cultural integration challenges. Feedback from these meetings guided our community safety initiatives and strengthened our collaboration with law enforcement. Collaboration with Creative People & Places As Polish Cultural Advisors, we regularly consult with Creative People & Places to design arts and cultural events. Feedback from participants has informed the planning of inclusive and vibrant experiences tailored to the community's preferences. Support for Local Foodbanks Through ongoing partnerships with local foodbanks, we responded to community feedback by streamlining the referral process and expanding the reach of food assistance services. Community Feedback Mechanisms During events and workshops, we collected feedback directly from participants through surveys and informal conversations. This input influenced event planning, ensuring our activities cater to diverse needs, age groups, and interests. Actions Taken in Response to Feedback Enhanced the variety of activities offered at our Monday Family Club, introducing additional workshops and classes based on participant suggestions. Adjusted the content and structure of domestic violence awareness workshops to include topics specifically requested by participants, such as mental health support and legal guidance. Strengthened collaboration with public sector partners to address gaps in service delivery highlighted during consultations. Outcome Through consistent consultation with stakeholders, we have refined our programs to better address community needs, foster stronger partnerships, and amplify our impact. These efforts underscore our commitment to serving the public benefit and ensuring our activities are responsive, inclusive, and meaningful.
