Company activities and impact

Branch and Bloom Norfolk CIC have provided Forest School based activities for the local community over the past financial year including sessions delivered to local schools, pre schooler groups, home educated groups and family groups. Sessions have benefited the community by: 1 Allowing participants to come together on a regular basis forming a community and helping to overcome social isolation. 2 Allowing access to and promoting learning about nature and conservation. 3 Promoting physical and mental health wellbeing. 4 Offering opportunities for holistic growth. 5 Protecting and enhancing the natural environment through various conservation activities including tree planting and planting a heritage orchard on our allotment.

Consultation with stakeholders

Our stakeholders are local school children and local families. We ask everyone attending our Forest School groups what activities they would like to engage in and feed these ideas into our future session plans. We have attended local fetes over the past financial year offering nature based activities to a wider range of the community, whilst supporting other local charities. We have also taken on board suggestions and group needs from those who engage with us through our social media channels and email, offering groups to suit needs. We are continuing to develop our allotment as there is interest in our horticultural offerings.
