Accounting policies
Basis of preparation
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 102, the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (as applied to small entities by section 1A of the standard) and the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP), Accounting by Limited Liability Partnerships.
Presentation currency
The accounts are presented in £ sterling.
Turnover
Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable in respect of sales of development properties in the ordinary course of business and is recognised at the point of legal completion for the sale of the asset.
Financial instruments
Basic financial instruments are recognised at transaction price and accounted for according to the substance of the contractual arrangement as either financial assets or financial liabilities.
Inventories
Inventories have been valued at the lower of cost and net sales value. Work in progress costs include a relevant proportion of overheads appropriate to the stage of completion.
