| Turnover |
| Turnover represents net expenditure incurred recoverable from freeholders and lessees. |
| Taxation |
| Taxation for the year comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Profit and loss account, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity. |
| Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted. |
| Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date. |
| Due to the nature of the company being that of mutual trading, excess income is retained for future use against future repair work to shared drainage and general areas. |
| No tax is payable on such income as it is not derived from external sources, other than that of the members and their tenants. |
