Company activities and impact

THE COMPANY PROVIDES AFFORDABLE STUDIOS AND EXHIBITION SPACE FOR OVER 45 LOCAL ARTISTS AT FALCON MILL, BOLTON. ARTISTS BASED AT FALCON MILL PROVIDE WORKSHOP, TALKS, DEMONSTRATIONS AND EXHIBITION OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS ACROSS THE NORTH WEST. BI-ANNUAL “OPEN STUDIO” EVENTS ARE HELD WHERE STUDIOS AND GALLERY ARE OPEN TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. SEVERAL “GUEST ARTISTS” ARE INVITED TO EXHIBIT AT THESE EVENTS, SUPPORTING LOCAL TALENT AND NEW AND EMERGING ARTISTS. FALCON MILL ALSO HOSTS COMMUNITY EXHIBITIONS AND PROJECTS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LOCAL COMMUNITY GROUPS AND ORGANISATIONS INCLUDING FUSION, HEADSPACE AND BREAKDOWN BOLTON. IN THIS FINANCIAL YEAR THERE WERE OVER 1000 VISITORS TO FALCON MILL OPEN STUDIOS, EXHIBITIONS AND PROJECTS. 75 PLUS ARTISTS EXHIBITED THEIR WORK AT FALCON MILL. .
