The company runs percussion experience workshops primarily aimed at the Care Sector in Cornwall. The company became a CIC in September 2018. During this financial period the Company’s percussion experience workshops have benefited the community in the following ways. - Adults with learning difficulties, Autism and special needs have enjoyed bi-monthly sessions designed to improve Mental Health, Self-Esteem and Well-Being. - Over 20 Memory Cafes and specialist support groups that specialise in supporting adults living with Dementia, Alzheimer’s and memory loss throughout Cornwall, have experienced our sessions and enjoyed reminiscing past joyous moments through music to their era, together with singing and dancing. - Regular visits to a variety of Care Homes and Nursing Homes in Cornwall have shown to help reduce anxiety and depression amongst residents. - A variety of other sessions were also provided for children’s parties, summer festivals and health and well- being events.
The company’s stakeholders are the attendees of all our percussion experience workshops. The Directors of the company request that attendees complete a Feedback Report Form asking about what they enjoyed about the session, how the session impacted upon people’s improvement in mental health, self-esteem and well-being and how they have helped reduce stress, anxiety and depression. We also ask for comments on how any of our sessions could be changed or improved and act upon feedback.
Directors’ remuneration included within the accounts totals £4,396.
