Company activities and impact

Activities over the period have included: -Provided free funding advice for local artists -Strengthened relationships between artists working across the Solent and south coast. -Provided 6 month Artist residency to under 26 emerging artists , provided advice and business support. -Working collaboratively with local Shademakers CIC,Stitch Department CIC, Horsebox Theatre CIC in order to bring a former department store back into use as a community cultural hub called Department due to open in spring 2025 -Working with local artists to curate an exhibition in Department for its opening exhibition - Continued work with the High Street Heritage Action Zone and Cultural Consortium -Maintaining the role of Creative Director to develop and manage the work of the CIC. - Regular meetings with local community organisations, Ryde Town council , Network Ryde and Ryde library. The companies stakeholders are the local community and artists. The directors have been associated with the legacy organisation , Ryde Arts Festival since 2004. The company was started following a series of public consultations during the winter of 2018 which provided us with our founding mission and vision. This group of active stakeholders have remained in communication with Ryde Arts during this year. Our funding is grant based and all of events provide opportunities for participants to provide evaluation and feedback.
