1 Accounting policies
Basis of preparation
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 102, The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (as applied to small entities by section 1A of the standard).
Turnover
Turnover represents service charges payable to lessees for the year. Any service charge deemed irrecoverable will be written off as in an expense in the accounts.
Tangible fixed assets
Tangible fixed assets represent the purchased freehold of Doble Court, funded by contributions from lessees in 2000.
Freehold no depreciation
Debtors
Debtors represent services charges paid in advance by lessees at the balance sheet date.
Creditors
Creditors represent third party company liabilities and service charges payable by the lessees at the balance sheet date.
