Notes to the Financial Statements
1. General Information
Pride In Camp Hill Limited is a private company, limited by guarantee, incorporated in England & Wales, registered number 04430919 . The registered office is Manor Court Chambers, Townsend Drive, Nuneaton, Warwickshire, CV11 6RU.
2. Accounting Policies
2.1. Basis of Preparation of Financial Statements
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 section 1A Small Entities "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" and the Companies Act 2006.
2.2. Going Concern Disclosure
The accounts have been prepared on a going concern basis. The company is reliant on the support of Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council (NBBC) and Warwickshire County Council (WCC), who have indicated their willingness to support the company. NBBC and WCC are committed to seeing the completion of the Pride In Camp Hill Regerneration Scheme and continue to support the project management arrangements for the programme.
2.3. Turnover
Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes.
The company is entitled to receive a proportion of the profit from homes sold on a development.  The final amount receivable is dependent upon both the future growth of house prices as well as building costs over the life of the development and therefore cannot be assessed with certainty until the development is completed.  For this reason, the directors are of the opinion that it would not be prudent to recognise the income until it becomes receivable. During the year ended 31 March 2025 £nil (2024: £nil) of such income was received.
2.4. Taxation
Income tax expense represents the sum of the tax currently payable and deferred tax.
The tax currently payable is based on taxable surplus for the year. Taxable surplus differs from surplus as reported in the statement of comprehensive income because of items of income or expense that are taxable or deductible in other years and items that are never taxable or deductible. The company's liability for current tax is calculated using tax rates that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the end of the reporting period.
Current tax for the year is recognised in surplus or deficit, except when they related to items that are recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity, in which case, the current and deferred tax is also recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity respectively.
2.5. Government Grant
Government grants are recognised in the profit and loss account in the same period as the related expenditure is incurred.  Any unrecognised amounts are included within the balance sheet as deferred income.
Where a grant is received which does not directly relate to incurred expenditure, the grant is amortised to the profit and loss account over the expected life of the project to which it relates, currently four years.
Should any grant become repayable a provision is recognised in the profit and loss account immediately.
3. Average Number of Employees
