Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 March 2025 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Tangible fixed assets are stated at cost less depreciation. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost of fixed assets, less their estimated residual value, over their expected useful lives on the following bases: Plant and machinery 25% Reducing Balance

Company activities and impact

We have co run (with one of our Associate members) 50 + events. All of the events we have run are related to delivering the vision and mission of the organisation which therefore benefit the community we are intended to serve. Vision - That everyone (with long term health conditions or impairments) who uses health care, social care or other public services should have choice and control over their own lives, and be fully included in community life. Mission and Aim - To ‘facilitate the full inclusion of children, adults and older citizens, who may be entitled to services and supports, in community life, through partnerships with those people, their families and organisations and the ways in which it delivers this mission.’ All events have been free to individual members and have taken place online throughout this period, 400 + places at events were taken by actual or potential individual members. We have worked in partnership with 3 associate members in terms of applying for additional resources, or producing events together, we have also developed our online presence to support the well-being of our community. as well as in supporting our member to develop skills that are leading to employment particularly in rolling out national mandatory training. The NW Expert by Experience Hub continues to offer a range of opportunities and training to a larger umber of people with a learning disabiity and families either as temporary employees or as Associates to the organisation. We have developed training to recruit more people over the next year and also developed the range of opportunities available for people.

Consultation with stakeholders

Pathways Stakeholders are in effect reflected in our membership. Pathways offers three types of membership: 1) Individual Membership Programme (£1 per annum), Who can be a member? Children (via families) and adults/ older citizens who may be entitled to health and social care services/ support Families of children and adults/ older citizens who may be entitled to health and social care services/ support As well as supporting the free work we do with individuals and families subscribers will be: Part of a national forum of leaders in the field Have the opportunity to get information and test ideas with key practitioners in the field Have access to all Pathway Associates for telephone and email advise with regard to commissioned work or occasional queries. Have direct access to briefings on national policy and opportunities to inform national policy Have access to both Pathway and NWTDT network events – A discount on consultancy fees (not inclusive of expenses) The CEX has at least quarterly contacted potential subscribers in terms of provider organisations etc. and has maintained contact and positive relationships with our Associate Members and we have been asked to contribute to national and regional events including working directly with the National NHSE team 3) Associate Members, (through invitation by the Board of Directors) Who can be an Associate Member? Organisations who share commitment to the values and principles of Pathways Associates Community Interest Company. By invitation only by the Board of Directors. We have 10 Associate Members who we have worked closely with over the last year to respond to the needs of disabled people and their families and support statutory and provider organisations develop in line with this. We have worked collectively to secure additional funding through third sector routes and in delivering events. Information from all our members is used to develop the programme of events etc. for the next financial year and also supports us to ensure the organisation remains focused on our vision and mission to support the community we serve
