Specifically, revenue from the sale of goods is recognised when goods are delivered and legal title is passed.

Company activities and impact

The Brunswick Club CIC supports a community of experimental film, sound and performance artists. It has a membership of over thirty artists, performers, film-makers, curators and academics. In previous years The Brunswick Club CIC has consistently delivered diverse events with talent from Bristol, UK-wide and abroad. We strive to ensure our events have been inclusive and that the Brunswick Club CIC is a safe space for all audience members and participants. Between April - December 2024, The Brunswick Club continued to developed and produce public facing projects, events, workshops and residencies using funding from the West of England Visual Arts Alliance (WEVAA) and Arts Council England to facilitate artist-led and community-focused projects, employing a Project Coordinator to support the management of our activities which has enabled the CIC to remain accountable to the community and uphold its pledges. We have directly paid and supported artists within the Brunswick community as well as further afield through collaboration, employment and access to pooled resources. Public artist run events + participation programmes included an open call for a major WEVAA commission, awarded to Bristol-based feminist photography collective Girls Camera Club. Between January-March 2025 we supported the WEVAA evaluation process with Arts Council England, and explored options for a new building to house The Brunswick Club (ongoing).
