BE.Xcellence provided targeted business and enterprise support to individuals from racialised and marginalised backgrounds. This included guidance on governance, communications, con-fidence-building, and navigating structural barriers within creative and professional social business sectors. Support was delivered through one-to-one sessions, informal mentoring, and partnership-based activity, ensuring accessibility for those who may be excluded from traditional business support pathways. Media Training and Representation: Throughout 2024, BE.Xcellence continued to create opportunities for underrepresented voic-es to build confidence and skills in media engagement. This included: -Media literacy and confidence-building sessions -Support for contributors engaging with broadcast and digital platforms -Advocacy for ethical representation and lived-experience-led storytelling This work directly supported the Anti-Racism Action Plan’s objectives around representation, narrative change, and amplifying marginalised voices. Education and Learning Resources: BE.Xcellence progressed the development and use of educational lesson plans and learning materials focused on race equity, lived experience, and critical thinking. These resources were used to support schools, organisations, and community settings seeking to engage meaningfully with anti-racism work. We also published our final issue of Xcellence magazine that was distributed with a focus on the education sector.
