    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    The company is a non-for profit organisation that generates funds from grants. The grants are received from local government, charities or commercial organisations. There is no turnover received from commercial trading.

Company activities and impact

The company's activities have provided benefit to vulnerable people in society in terms of building their confidence, improving their social skills, helping them to eat better, saving money and better providing for their families. We have provided free meals for the homeless, shown people how to cook on a budget, including providing free slow cookers to people. We have facilitated free community meals and supported people in ways that improve their mental and physical wellbeing. New to 2024/25 we have also created an initiative where we support groups to prepare vegetables to be donated to local community grocery stores. Consultation with stakeholders

The company has consulted with a range of stakeholders in Lincolnshire, Local Authorities include: Lincolnshire County Council, City of of Lincoln Council and West Lindsey District Council. We have consulted with Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust and other teams within the NHS community setting. We have consulted with the University of Lincoln (Lincoln Medical School) and Bishop Grosseteste University (LORiC and BG Futures). We have consulted schools (Lincolnshire Holiday Activities and Food), libraries (community cookery), large organisations such as Lincolnshire YMCA, through to grass roots organisations such as Gainsborough Slum Gothic (community food initiatives) and Lincoln Community Grocery Store. For more information please see www.gogro.org.uk/partners As a direct action to consultation, GoGro CIC have designed and developed a number of community initiatives including slow cooker projects, food bank budget cooking, community meals that aim to improve social cohesion and reduce social isolation. A huge focus this year has been around budget cooking through Household Support Fund, through City of Lincoln Council and West Lindsey District Council.
