THE 6IX MEDIA CIC operates as a community interest company with the primary objective of supporting individuals and community groups through creative media activities. During the financial year, the Company delivered media, digital, and creative services designed to promote inclusion, skills development, and community engagement. The Company benefited the community by providing access to media production opportunities, training, and creative platforms that enabled participants to develop practical skills in digital media, content creation, and communication. These activities helped improve employability, confidence, and self-expression, particularly among underrepresented or disadvantaged groups. In addition, THE 6IX MEDIA CIC supported local organisations, artists, and community initiatives by collaborating on projects that amplified community voices and addressed social issues through media. The Company also contributed to the local economy by engaging freelancers, suppliers, and partners where possible. The Company operated in line with its community interest objectives, ensuring that any surplus generated was reinvested into community-focused projects and activities. Overall, the Company’s activities during the year delivered positive social, educational, and economic benefits to the community it serves.
THE 6IX MEDIA CIC consulted with its stakeholders during the financial year. Stakeholders include community participants and beneficiaries, local community organisations, project partners, freelancers, and service users. Consultation took place through meetings, project discussions, informal feedback sessions, email communication, and ongoing engagement during the delivery of media and creative projects. Feedback received was used to shape project content, improve accessibility, and ensure activities aligned with community needs and the Company’s community interest objectives. As a result of this consultation, the Company refined its project delivery approach and planned future activities with a stronger focus on skills development, inclusion, and community representation.
