While 2024/25 is an interim year between festivals, Alton Arts Festival continued to serve the community through ongoing Life Drawing classes which supporting skill development and creative expression. Our partnership with Goldfinch Books continued to serve the community through a series of music, comedy and literary events that have broadened the town’s cultural horizons. Simultaneously, the festival invested in strategic development - securing funding that will support our expanding schools programme in 2026.
The officers of the Arts Festival have worked continuously on the 2026 festival. Engagement has taken place with schools about our outreach programme, securing the dates in their calendar and ensuring we’re providing activities that enhance the curriculum and bring new creative opportunities to local children. We’re also continuing to work with local venues, the town and district council and local businesses to prepare for AAF 2026.
