During the 2024 - 2025 financial year, Neo Sports CIC continued to deliver accessible sports and physical activity programs for children and young people aged 4 - 16 within the local community. In line with our mission to Nurture, Empower and create opportunity, we used sport as a vehicle to build confidence, improve wellbeing and support positive development. Across the year Neo sports delivered over 200 hours of sports sessions, mentoring programmes and holiday camps, engaging approximately 80 - 100 young people on a regular basis. Our activities were designed to be inclusive and affordable ensuring that children from a range of backgrounds including those facing financial hardship or additional support needs could participate and benefit. We continued to work with school’s and community partners to support not only physical health, but also social skills, behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Feedback from parents of participants highlighted improvements in confidence, fitness levels, social interaction and overall engagement in positive activities. By providing consistent opportunities for physical activity, guidance and personal growth Neo Sports CIC has delivered measurable community benefit. Our programmes have helped young people develop healthier lifestyles, positive routines and stronger connections within their community.
Neo Sports CIC has engaged a range of stakeholders throughout the 2024 - 2025 to ensure our services remain relevant, accessible and impactful. We received grant funding from The National Lottery and Sport England helping us increase capacity, reduce barriers to participation and provide subsidised opportunities for children and young people in our community. We maintain regular communication with parents, schools, community partners and participants to gather feedback and shape the development of our services. To support this, we routinely conduct questionnaires and feedback forms with our service users to evaluate the quality of our programmes, measured outcomes and identify areas of improvement.
The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £7,180 There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
