During the financial year, SupportHub Tools CIC operated as a social-impact publisher and resource provider focused on improving access to clear, practical information for neurodivergent, disabled, and chronically ill individuals navigating education, employment, and workplace systems in the UK. The company’s activities centred on producing and distributing accessible digital resources that explain rights, processes, and support options in plain language. This included guidance on workplace adjustments, transitions into further education and employment, and navigating complex or inaccessible institutional systems that often affect them. By prioritising clarity, accessibility, and affordability, the company reduced barriers to understanding legal and procedural information, enabling individuals to make informed decisions, advocate for themselves, and engage more confidently with employers, education providers, and public bodies. The company’s work benefited the community by: - Increasing access to rights-based information that is often difficult to interpret or fragmented - Supporting individuals who face systemic disadvantage due to disability or neurodivergence - Promoting inclusion, independence, and informed participation in education and employment All activities were carried out in line with the company’s community interest purpose and were designed to deliver public benefit rather than private profit.
During the financial year, the company engaged informally with its key stakeholders, including neurodivergent and disabled individuals, early-career professionals, parents, and advocates with lived experience of education and workplace systems. Consultation took place through direct conversations, feedback from users of the company’s resources, and informal discussions via online platforms and professional networks. This feedback focused on accessibility, clarity of language, and the practical usefulness of the resources provided. The company used this feedback to refine its content approach, prioritising plain-language explanations, clearer structure, and resources that address common points of confusion or difficulty when navigating education and employment systems.
