    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover Turnover comprises the invoiced value of goods and services supplied by the company, net of Value Added Tax and trade discounts

    Other accounting policies

    Taxation Taxation represents the sum of tax currently payable and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the statement of income, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in capital and reserves. The company’s liability for current tax is calculated using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted at the reporting date. Current and deferred tax assets and liabilities are not discounted

Company activities and impact

Future Fixers CIC delivered training, coaching, consultancy and community-focused programmes during the financial year, supporting individuals, organisations and communities to create positive social and environmental impact. During the year, approximately 60 individuals and 8 organisations benefited from our activities. Key activities and impact included: Delivery of the Good Business Bootcamp, endorsed by the National Open College Network (NOCN), supporting purposeful business owners to develop sustainable, people- and planet-centred business models. Ongoing delivery of monthly Peer Support sessions and Quarterly Connect sessions for purposeful business owners, providing structured peer learning, reflection and wellbeing support. Delivery of one-to-one coaching to several purposeful business owners, supporting leadership development, resilience and values-led decision-making. Provision of coaching, consultancy and training to leaders, managers and staff within charities, supporting organisational effectiveness, staff wellbeing and mission delivery. Delivery of consultancy project work for charities including CADAS and Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT). Delivery of a range of workshops, including Green Sketching for Wellbeing workshops and Vision Board workshops for business owners, supporting wellbeing, creativity and future planning. Acting as a host organisation for not-for-profit initiatives, including Cumbria Clothing Collective, enabling them to access funding and deliver community benefit under Future Fixers CIC’s asset lock and governance framework. Delivery of English language and employability-focused one-to-one support to refugees, commissioned by Common Spaces Common Humanity, supporting individuals into employment and greater social integration. Through these activities, Future Fixers CIC has continued to support individuals and organisations to improve wellbeing, strengthen leadership capacity, and contribute to a fairer, greener and more inclusive local economy. Future Fixers CIC has acted as a host organisation for a not-for-profit initiative, Cumbria Clothing Collective, where grant funding is received by Future Fixers CIC and paid out to the hosted organisation in line with actual expenditure incurred in delivering community benefit. A modest management fee of £150 was retained to cover administrative and governance costs. No surplus was generated from this activity.

Consultation with stakeholders

Stakeholders of Future Fixers CIC include purposeful business owners, charities, community organisations, partner organisations, and individuals supported through our programmes. Consultation took place through: Ongoing feedback gathered from participants attending training, workshops, peer support sessions and coaching. Regular dialogue with partner organisations and charities, including CADAS, Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust and Common Spaces Common Humanity. Ongoing engagement with hosted organisations, including Cumbria Clothing Collective, to ensure appropriate governance, accountability and delivery of community benefit. Feedback received has been used to refine programme content, improve accessibility, strengthen wellbeing-focused elements of delivery, and shape future activity to better meet stakeholder needs.
