Ambitions is a provision for people with learning difficulties and disabilities. We offer Supported Living for four young males who live in their own homes within our local community with the support of staff as well as offering respite care to our existing clients. We continue to welcome new clients in our Day Service and our Respite Care is continuing to grow. We have access to other services including CIC companies within our local community. Our timetable exists of independent living skills, ebay, upcycling, exercise, cooking, gardening and Vegetable growing and Streetbikes to name a few. We have also forged links with another CIC, Umbrella Yoga who carry out Yoga sessions twice a week for us. We have also benefited the local community in the following ways. We work closely with local shops, businesses and organisations within our community.
The company's stakeholders are our clients who attend, their parents and carers. staff, volunteers, local residents and businesses. We continue to operate an open door policy and people know they can call in at any time for information, advice and support. We discuss our provision with all stakeholders and act on the feedback we receive. We are proactive and always look for different and interesting ways to support our clients and the local community. During the year we introduced a 'Caring for Carers' policy which helped formalise the care and support we already provide to our families.
