Rubiks Inclusive Counselling Interventions is a Community Interest Company dedicated to supporting the residents of Scunthorpe and the surrounding areas. The organisation provides counselling and emotional support to both children and adults, starting from the age of five, through a variety of services including individual counselling sessions and support groups. Rubiks Inclusive Counselling Interventions offers a safe, welcoming environment designed to promote mental well-being and inclusion within the community. The company delivers a range of services that directly benefit local residents, such as one-to-one counselling, group therapy sessions, and engaging workshops including creative arts, sports activities like football, and other child-focused programs. In addition to delivering vital mental health support, RICI contributes to the local economy by creating employment opportunities for qualified therapists from the area. Rubiks Inclusive Counselling Interventions also plays an active role in community engagement. The organisation regularly participates in local events at venues such as the 20–21 Visual Arts Centre and local parks. It also hosts informal meetups in welcoming community spaces, such as local pubs, where individuals can gather to talk, be heard, and receive ongoing support in a relaxed and friendly setting.
The company’s current directors are Susan Bird and Pete Lambert. Pete Lambert is primarily responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the organisation, while both directors work together to guide its overall direction and community impact. Zoe Cowley, a founding director, has stepped down from her role due to personal reasons but remains supportive of the company’s mission and activities.

Pete received remuneration during the year for counselling work undertaken on behalf of the CIC. Total director remuneration was £24,500.
