The company runs Subtle Radio, a community-led radio station based in Hackney, broadcasting local and grassroots electronic music. During the financial year, the station’s activities benefited the community in the following ways: local DJs, producers and creatives were able to access studio space, equipment and support at free or low cost, helping them develop skills and confidence residents and community groups were given opportunities to broadcast their own shows and share their work with wider audiences listeners were able to access free, 24/7 programming online, supporting inclusion for people who may face financial or geographical barriers to cultural spaces under-represented artists were given a platform to showcase their music and build connections within the creative community collaborative events and workshops helped bring people together, strengthen local networks and encourage participation in community activities
