Principal activities of the company

Principal activities of the company The principal activities of Time Isn’t Up UK CIC during the financial year were the provision of mental health education, awareness, and support services. The company delivered mental health assemblies and workshops in schools, provided mental health awareness talks and training to companies and organisations, and developed and delivered mental health peer support courses. These activities were undertaken to promote mental wellbeing, reduce stigma, and support the creation of healthier and more supportive educational and workplace environments.

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover policy Turnover represents the fair value of consideration receivable for services provided during the financial year, net of value added tax and other sales-related taxes. Income from the provision of services, including mental health assemblies, workshops, training, and courses, is recognised in the period in which the services are delivered. Where income is received in advance of services being provided, it is deferred and recognised as turnover when the related services are performed.

Company activities and impact

During the financial year, Time Isn’t Up UK CIC undertook activities designed to advance mental health awareness and promote emotional wellbeing within schools, workplaces, and the wider community. The company delivered structured mental health assemblies and workshops in schools, providing pupils with information to increase understanding of mental health, recognise signs of emotional distress, and reduce stigma associated with mental health issues. These activities supported early awareness and encouraged positive attitudes towards mental wellbeing among young people. The company also engaged with employers and organisations, delivering workplace mental health talks and workshops. These sessions promoted awareness of mental health in the workplace, supported employers in fostering supportive working environments, and encouraged open and informed discussion of mental wellbeing among employees. In addition, Time Isn’t Up UK CIC developed and delivered mental health peer support courses, aimed at equipping participants with the knowledge and skills required to provide informal peer support. These courses contributed to the establishment of sustainable peer support networks within educational and workplace settings, thereby strengthening community resilience and ongoing support. Through these activities, the company delivered demonstrable public benefit by increasing mental health awareness, reducing stigma, supporting early intervention, and contributing to healthier and more supportive environments in education and employment.
