Alokita supported local emerging artists and encouraged community engagement. The company showcased the work of two artists through an online platform, increasing the visibility of their practice and providing wider professional exposure. Alokita also started the Postcode Stories project, creating a participatory forum where local residents shared experiences and reflected on their relationship with their neighbourhoods. This project helped strengthen community connections and foster a sense of belonging.
Alokita consulted with key stakeholders, including participating artists and local community members, throughout the development and delivery of its projects. Feedback was gathered through informal discussions and online engagement, which helped shape the content and structure of the projects. This consultation ensured that activities were responsive to the needs and interests of both artists and the local community.
Total amount paid to a director was £300 for expenses reimbursement.
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
