Company activities and impact

During the financial year 2025, the CIC financed the production of Ebb + Flow by Littleford+Adams. A 60 minutes video about a river - about everything and nothing and hardly about a river at all. Filmed almost entirely on dash-cam and phone, two artists – Rachael Adams and Robert Littleford – tried to capture the natural flow of their unfiltered thought processes, while looking at the landscape of the Lower Ouse Valley. Ebb + Flow / Flux et Reflux was screened at: Towner, Eastbourne, UK - 2 and 5 August Dieppe Scene Nationale, France - 25 October Creative Living Lab / Marine Workshops, Newhaven, UK - 30 October It’s My Apple - An audio/visual installation was created about the making of the film Ebb + Flow, which in turn is about the making of a film. Littleford+Adams examined their own creative process in this installation. Interested in a sense of place, the artists provide a frame of reference with which they find their own place the world. Atrium, Marine Workshops, Newhaven, UK - 30 and 31 October, 1 November

Consultation with stakeholders

The CIC’s stakeholders are the residents of Newhaven and wider community. The artists will usually be present during the events to inform and engage with visitors. We are also active on Instagram and YouTube in seeking comments. We often receive informative feedback as to the quality of the art. We also try to respond to comments made by visitors as regards accessibility of exhibitions and events. We proactively consult with Lewes District Council, Towner (public art gallery) and local community groups as regards content and format of the exhibitions and events.
