"WE HAVE STARTED MAKING AN IMPACT BY GETTING CONVERSATIONS GOING AROUND MOVEMENT AS MEDICINE FOR MENTAL HEALTH, AND BY RAISING MONEY TO PUT INTO OUR UPCOMING COMMUNITY FOCUSED PROECTS. DURING THIS FIRST YEAR WE HAVE SUCESSFULLY APPLIED FOR THE COOPERATIVE CUSTOMER DONATIONS FUND, ALONGSIDE FUNDRAISING EFFORTS SUCH AS PARTICIPATING IN THE BODMIN TEN TORS EVENT AND THE MAN VS COAST EVENT. FOR THE TEN TORS FUNDRAISER, WE ENCOURAGED 7 MEMBERS OF OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE WALK FOR THEIR FIRST TIME, BENEFITING THEIR WELLBEING, AND SPREADING AWARNESS OF MOVEMENT FOR MENTAL HEALTH AMONG THEIR PERSONAL NETWORKS. WE HAVE ALSO BEEN WORKING ON OUR ARTS COUNCIL NATIONAL LOTTERY APPLICATION WHICH WAS REJECTED UPON FIRST TRY AND IS NOW BACK UNDER DEVELOPMENT. WE HAVE BEEN REPRESENTED AT NUMEROUS EVENTS SUCH AS THE SOCIAL PRESCRIBING NETWORKING EVENT IN LADDOCK AND BODMIN’S SEETEC WELLBEING WORKSHOPS IN ORDER TO BUILD OUR AUDIENCE OF PARTICIPANTS AND REFEREES. WE HAVE NOT DELIVERED ANY ACTIVITIES YET DUE TO HOLDS ON FUNDING BUT HAVE USED THIS TIME TO KEEP RESEARCHING AND DEVELOPING IDEAS."
