At Evolving Mindset CIC we have delivered regulated and bespoke mental health training packages within organisations, schools and the Community Sector. Evolving Mindset have provided our local community with free mental health support, employability support and qualifications. Evolving Mindset have also supported our local community by hosting weekly community days to support with the cost of living crisis. Evolving Mindset have provided free and quick education and support services in order to increase participation in mental health support that is person centred to individual needs. Our overall aim has been to help reduce suicides within our community. Evolving Mindset have worked with local GP services and Social Prescribing Link Workers and Community Mental Health Teams in the area. Evolving Mindset have worked with our local community groups and voluntary sector to provide specialist mental health support and training packages within the region. We have received 407 referrals throughout the financial year to which this report relates. These referrals received accessed the support listed below. The support we currently offer includes: Knowsley Young Minds - Funded by Evolving Mindset and Livv Housing Group for the past 5 years, our Knowsley Young Minds Project provides free Mental Health & Well-being workshops, 1-1 mentoring and free Qualifications to Young people aged 14-24 in the Knowsley area. Kirkby Men’s Well-being Club - Evolving Mindset provides a free Men's Well-being Club every Tuesday at Kirkby Leisure Centre 6-8pm. Men can engage in various sports such as football, boxercise, circuit training, badminton and table tennis. Men can also speak to one of our team if they need to offload. Well-being Wednesday - Everyone is welcome to attend our hub in Prescot of a Wednesday 11.30-2.30. This is a safe space where people can meet other members of the community, play board games and quizzes. We also offer free sandwiches, soup & drinks. 6 week online zoom programme - Our Free online community Mental Health & Well-being programme consists of 6 sessions delivered over a 6 week period, with each one being facilitated by a Mental Health Professional on a Wednesday evening 6.15-8pm via zoom. Huyton Women’s well-being club - Evolving Mindset provides a free Women's Well-being Club every Thursday at Huyton Leisure Centre 6-7pm. Women can engage in either physical or non-physical activities, such as circuit training, step aerobics, boxercise, colouring, wordsearches, or sitting and chatting to one of our team. Huyton Men’s well-being club - Evolving Mindset provides a free Men's Well-being Club at Huyton Leisure Centre every Thursday 6-7pm. Men can engage in various sports such as football, boxercise, circuit training, badminton and table tennis. Men can also speak to one of our team if they need to offload. Employability support – Evolving Mindset offers free weekly employability support which provides people with free qualifications, CV writing, interview skills and support with searching for a job. In addition to those who have attended the above activities, we have also worked with 771 young people aged 5-24 offering mini medics and mental health awareness activities. Our telephone support line which was funded by The Mark McQueen Foundation supported 303 individuals during our 6-month pilot. We delivered qualifications to 307 participants. Our free counselling service, which commenced in July 2025 has supported 63 individuals to date. We would also like to thank all those who have funded our projects this past year. Evolving Mindset have undertaken various extensive community based consultations and engaged with local stakeholders, in order to plan, execute and evaluate our primary services and support packages. Ensuring that we involve beneficiaries in the development of the organisation and support packages is very important to us. Using this model we were able to plan, deliver and evaluate various community projects that have been provided free, to adults and young people in the Liverpool City Region. Monitoring and evaluation is an integral part of what we do at Evolving Mindset and self-reported evaluations are collected during the participant’s journey with us. Evolving Mindset have been able to make connections with a large amount of third sector organisations and professional services.
The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £68,474.
