This year at Earthen Acres we've been busy building the foundations for transformative community impact. Through research and collaboration with fellow CICs, we've gained insights to shape our approach. We're cultivating partnerships with local colleges, universities, and museums, creating pathways for engagement and growth. A key focus has been breaking down barriers to education. By converting workshops and courses to online formats, we're making our content accessible to those who face financial, childcare, or transport challenges – empowering beneficiaries to learn and thrive. As we prepare to launch impactful programmes, we're strengthening our team through strategic recruitment. This investment in people and partnerships positions us to deliver high-quality, community-focused initiatives that spark positive change. Though programme delivery is upcoming, our groundwork this year has set the stage for meaningful impact in the community." This highlights: - Research and collaboration - Partnership-building - Accessibility initiatives - Team development - Future impact potential
The stakeholders we focused on this year are our beneficiary groups and other companies or organisations that serve our core groups. We've engaged with stakeholders through a series of Sunday morning Zoom calls, involving UK founders, homeschoolers, and off-grid families etc. The valuable feedback from these shaped our decision to focus on online education and workshops, enhancing accessibility for our beneficiaries. A key theme emerged: creating a safe, representative space is crucial. As a result, we'll prioritize representation in leadership roles, ensuring educators, site managers, and decision-makers reflect the backgrounds of our beneficiaries. This approach will underpin our CIC's activities and programmes, fostering a sense of belonging and trust.
