Launching operationally in January 2025, Cornerstone Psychology CIC has worked with a range of neurodivergent individuals and has contributed to raising public awareness of neurodiversity in the workplace. The services provided by Cornerstone Psychology CIC are underpinned by three core values: accessibility, person-centred practice, and evidence-based work. These values have been clearly demonstrated throughout the financial year. Specifically, the company’s activities have benefited the community in the following ways: Neurodiversity screenings: The company provided neurodiversity screening services to individuals who suspected they may have ADHD traits. These screenings supported individuals to better understand their cognitive profile, validated lived experiences, and helped reduce uncertainty and distress. For many, the screening process provided clarity, direction, and informed next steps, including workplace adjustments, further assessment, or self-advocacy. Coaching and individual support: Cornerstone Psychology CIC delivered coaching and psychological support to neurodivergent individuals, including those in senior and leadership roles. This work focused on strengths-based development, wellbeing, and sustainable performance. Coaching supported individuals to better understand their neurodivergence, develop effective coping strategies, and improve confidence, self-efficacy, and workplace functioning. Raising awareness of neurodiversity in the workplace: The company used social media and public communication channels to raise awareness of neurodiversity and neurodivergent experiences in professional settings. This activity contributed to wider public understanding, challenged misconceptions, and promoted more inclusive and psychologically informed workplace practices. All activities were delivered in alignment with the company’s community interest objectives, with any surplus retained within the organisation to support future community-focused work.
The company’s primary stakeholders are the individuals accessing its services, alongside community partners and professionals engaging with the organisation. Consultation with individuals accessing the services has taken place on an informal and ongoing basis, primarily through direct discussion during service delivery, follow-up conversations, and feedback shared via email and digital communication. This approach reflects the person-centred nature of the company’s work and supports accessibility and meaningful engagement. Feedback from individuals accessing the services has been used to inform and refine the company’s approach, including adjustments to communication methods, accessibility, and the focus and structure of support provided. This has helped ensure that services remain responsive to individual needs and aligned with the company’s community interest objectives. The company intends to continue to develop its stakeholder consultation processes as services expand, ensuring that feedback from individuals accessing the services continues to shape future activities and impact.
