Company activities and impact

We have supported several film and video productions over the past 12 months. Support includes but not limited to: Location scouting Stewarding Social Media & Marketing Crewing Education These activities are helping raise awareness of filming opportunities within Leicestershire and profile its creative people and filming locations. We are also providing pathways and development for new and existing talent who are making new connections through working on new projects/productions.

Consultation with stakeholders

Film Leicester's stakeholders are individuals mainly from the film industry who either have a keen interest in the sector, within education, and involved in either a part time or full time capacity. Several consultations were made from all levels of experience and competences from grassroots, higher education to seasoned professionals on the type of support they feel they would require. A survey was also undertaken to help shape not only the CIC's aims and objectives but also the community network/platform (website) design.
