During the financial year, R360 Media, Theatre & Arts Training Centre delivered a range of free and accessible creative programmes that provided meaningful benefits to the local community. By offering 20 free Theatre and Performing Arts sessions and 10 free introductory media presenting classes, the company removed financial barriers that often prevent individuals from accessing creative training and personal development opportunities. The activities supported participants to build confidence, communication skills, creativity, and self-expression, while also encouraging teamwork, discipline, and social interaction. These sessions were particularly beneficial for residents who may have limited access to arts education, helping to improve wellbeing, reduce social isolation, and foster a sense of belonging within the community. All activities were delivered locally at North City Family and Fitness Centre in Harpurhey, Manchester, ensuring the programme was accessible and rooted within the community. Regular weekly delivery throughout the financial year provided structure, consistency, and sustained engagement for participants. In addition to the training, the company provided free refreshments at every session, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment that encouraged attendance, participation, and positive social interaction. Overall, the company’s activities contributed to community cohesion, skills development, creative engagement, and improved wellbeing, aligning with R360’s social purpose of empowering individuals through media, theatre, and the arts while supporting long-term personal and community development.
During the financial year, We consulted with the key stakeholders, including community participants, venue partners, tutors, volunteers, and local residents. Consultation took place through informal discussions, participant feedback during and after sessions, attendance reviews, and ongoing engagement with the host venue. This feedback helped us understand community needs, accessibility issues, and areas for improvement. As a result of stakeholder feedback, the company: Scheduled sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays evening to improve attendance and accessibility Adapted course content to better reflect participants’ interests and skill levels Continued to provide free refreshments, responding to feedback around comfort and inclusion Ensured sessions remained free of charge to remove financial barriers to participation This consultation process informed programme delivery and supported the company’s commitment to community-led, inclusive creative education.
