The activities of New Malden Town Centre Partnership CIC and their impacts on the communi-ty over the financial year 2024-2025 are detailed below: The Partnership successfully organised a Green Fair in the summer and a Christmas event to coincide with the Christmas lights switch on including children’s entertainment, cultural performances and displays. The Partnership also organised a co-growing project on Jubilee Square New Malden where people learnt about produce growing and exchanged food and ideas. The Partnership organised tree lights in the High Street to enhance visitor experience in the winter. The Partnership has supported business and other local organisations by installing a heritage mosaic at New Malden station. The Partnership has also been active in promoting environmental awareness and sustainability. This is through its Food of Us project which looks at food its importance in culture and sustainability and also through creating wild spaces on the Square for insects etc to thrive and working with local youngsters through Good Gym and Duke of Edinburgh volunteers.
Stakeholders of the Partnership include local voluntary groups, local businesses, Kingston Council and local residents The ongoing consultation with our stakeholders is integral to the Partnership’s operations and growth. It ensures that our activities remain aligned with the needs of the community and that we continue to foster an environment of inclusion and mutual respect. There is a monthly meeting with representatives of all our stakeholders
