Consultation with Stakeholders Since March 2024, Elevate Together CIC has undertaken consultation across all projects with local residents, participants, parents and carers, volunteers, schools, and community partners to ensure activities respond to community need and are accessible and inclusive. Consultation has taken place through: On-site resident and participant consultation Between March 2024 and March 2025, on-site conversations and small group discussions were held at: Hedgemans Allotment – consultation with approximately 60 adult residents and 12 children with SEND involved in the Elevate at the Allotment project. Gale Street Community Garden – consultation with participants and families attending outdoor wellbeing and gardening sessions. The Roost, Valence Primary School – consultation with approximately 35 parents and carers engaged in wellbeing and peer-support activities. Feedback before, during, and after sessions Participants were invited to share feedback informally at the start and close of sessions and through ongoing conversation with facilitators. This enabled adjustments to activity levels, session length, and group support to meet different physical, emotional, and additional needs. Parent and carer engagement For projects involving children and young people, including those with SEND, ongoing dialogue took place with parents and carers at school and community sites. This consultation informed safeguarding arrangements, communication methods, session timing, and the suitability of activities. Volunteer and partner consultation Volunteers and partner organisations, including schools and community site hosts, were consulted regarding: Session structure and timetabling Accessibility and inclusion Safeguarding procedures Health and safety and site use How Consultation Informed Delivery Feedback from stakeholders led to: Selection of familiar and trusted locations (allotments, community gardens, and school-based hubs) Scheduling sessions at times suitable for parents, carers, and working families Adapting activities to be inclusive of children with SEND and adults with varying physical and mental health needs Providing flexible, supportive session formats and smaller group sizes Strengthening safeguarding and accessibility arrangements This consultation process ensured that Elevate Together CIC’s activities were community-led, responsive, and aligned with its public benefit objectives, in accordance with Companies House and CIC Regulator reporting requirements.
