Since its establishment, the CIC has supported the local community by running regular community coffee mornings for women from BAME backgrounds, providing a safe and welcoming space to reduce social isolation and encourage connection. Alongside these sessions, the CIC has delivered targeted activities including self-defence classes and mental health counselling sessions, giving participants support in an informal and trusted setting. These initiatives have helped build confidence, improve wellbeing, and strengthen peer support within the community.
